The subconscious that is passed onto us without our knowledge can haunt us definitively. "Cover Yourself, Your Father Might See You" is an attempt to deal with the subconscious effects of a cultural clash between the misogynistic history of Ukraine and growing up in American culture. It is a work about histories, culture, and the weight of the subconscious.
