Surprise à la plage
I am exploring the notions of human transformation, humor and fantasy through the use of fairy tale and myth. I physically interact with the sculptures and sets in every frame contemplating movement, rhythm, body language, timing, and gesture with all the sensibilities of a performer, though it is only through the characters that I perform, creating theatrical, eccentric worlds.

Cover Yourself, Your Father Might See YouThe subconscious that is passed onto us without our knowledge can haunt us definitively. "Cover Yourself, Your Father Might See You" is an attempt to deal with the subconscious effects of a cultural clash between the misogynistic history of Ukraine and growing up in American culture. It is a work about histories, culture, and the weight of the subconscious.

Visual Excercises CycleThis video is one of the core pieces that make together the "VISUAL EXCERCISES CYCLE" which depicts my view about and interest in the intersection of violence, pop culture and perception.

Using a shadow puppetry contraption I will investigate colors and sounds casted onto the different screens. The objects I use are seen by the eye through the light I project into their elusive embodiment.

Yearn to Touch As an homage to Marina Abramovic, I cast a deep yearning to connect as a metaphor for construction of the self and as a conduit for growth.
Ritual and struggle unites the content and becomes a formal stance: a metaphor for both ritual and release. It acknowledges the body as a tool for non-verbal connection and explores contemporary meaning within various modes of communication.
